Taping is a technique used by physiotherapists to help support a specific structure in the body that is compromised. Whether it is a joint, ligament or muscle, taping can be used to facilitate pain free movement and function during activities. Tape can be applied safely and effectively to most areas of the body.

Kinesiotaping is a technique that uses specialized, elastic-like tape to support body structures while allowing full range of movement.  Kinesiotape works with the lymphatic system to increase circulation of the blood and lymph in an injured area.  It is used to relieve pain, decrease swelling and to facilitate or relax muscles to promote normal function.  The tape is latex free, breathable and has a light-weight feel that is safe to wear for multiple days.
