Kimberly completed her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy with honors at the Université Laval, in Québec city. After her studies, Kimberly has developed her experience in orthopedic (muscle and joint injuries), sports injuries, and women’s health.
Early in her career, Kimberly discovered a passion for women’s health. By completing post-graduate courses in pelvic health and rehabilitation, she has enhanced her practical skills, knowledge, and expertise in this area of physiotherapy. Kimberly is dedicated to breaking the silence about women’s conditions. With knowledge and personalized exercises of the pelvic floor, she is able to empower her patients and improve their quality of life and well-being. When stepping into her office, you will be respected, listened to, and taken as a whole individual.
In addition to treating women’s health issues, Kimberly has experience with athletes, in particular with college football and high-level gymnastics and circus athletes. Kimberly was part of the physiotherapists’ team for the Québec Gymnastic Games in 2019. As well, while at University, she spent two years as a physiotherapist student working with the College Football team. These experiences further developed her interest in sports rehabilitation and provided her with early field experience and knowledge. She has completed post-graduate course work in Orthopedic rehabilitation and continues to further her knowledge and skills in this area.
Kimberly is highly motivated and takes every opportunity to enhance her knowledge through reading books and articles, listening to podcasts, participating in webinars and healing summits, as well as pursuing course work to continue to challenge herself, progress her skills, and further her knowledge.
In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, such as downhill skiing, ski touring, canoeing, running, mountain biking, and hiking. She also loves cooking, practicing yoga, traveling, and scuba diving. When an occasion arises to adventure in the backcountry, whether it is on a bike, on skis, or with hiking boots, she wants to be part of it. The mountain sports, the community vibe, and the quality of life in the Kootenays are what drew Kimberly here and why she has chosen this area as her permanent home.
